A HOME THAT LOVES ITS ENVIRONMENT – ENERGY EFFICIENT + ECO FRIENDLY

The homes at Altis were conceived and designed to meet goals of ecological responsibility, and energy efficiency. The first phase of the project has been registered with the U.S. Green Building Council with the intent of pursuing a certification goal of silver under USGBC’s LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program.

The LEED Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. LEED emphasizes state of the art strategies for sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials and resources selection and indoor environmental quality. LEED was created to:

• define “green building” by establishing a common standard measurement
• promote integrated, whole-building design practices
• recognize environmental leadership in the building industry
• stimulate green competition and raise consumer awareness of green building benefits to transform the building market.

Altis will also be rated as Energy Star homes. These are key components of the project, reflecting our commitment to sustainable and responsible building.
